An A-Z of magic lantern slides
A ghoulish glossaries of garish glass graphics! With no live shows or workshops during lockdown, Frog and Nicole have been indexing their lantern slides into alphabetical order. From Angelic Apparitions to Zoom Meeting Zombies, this project is a chance to see some popular favourites from their collection alongside some new additions that have never before been illuminated!
This A-Z was commissioned by Camberwell Arts as an interactive online presentation in June 2020 which you can view here. A ‘live’ performance was streamed via YouTube for the Magic Lantern Society in October 2020, a recording of this event is to be publicly released by Screen Archive South East in 2021.
